An origin of“The Asakusa Tori no lchi”
and “engi-kumade”, a highly decorated bamboo rake.
 
 

“The Tori no lchi” is the representative annual function to continue from the Edo period,now Tokyo, in November on the day of the Rooster, the tenth of the twelve signs of the zodiac.
Townspeople pray for kaiun-syofuku(good-luck) and syobai-hanjyo(business prosperity) in the temple of the Rooster in Asakusa(the temple of Chokoku-ji) , Otori shrine and the other shrine of the Rooster.
The representative noted product in The Tori no lchi is the good-luck a highly decorated bamboo rake. The bamboo rake is the good-luck articles that worked of a joke like a traditional Tokyoite, they pray so that it draws luck and fortune, with the
